Gramenet Imatge Solidària is an association created by photographers and citizens from Sta Coloma de Gramenet that through photography as a form of sensitization hope to make citizens more sensitive to humanistic values with the use of images and to promote reflection on the injustices of the world we live in and furthermore raise funds to finance these projects. This association with the support of various Catalan institutions has legally existed since November 2004 and it is located at “Casa de la Solidaritat i la Pau” in Sta Coloma de Gramenet. In its various exhibits, presentations and publications outstanding photographers Kim Manresa, Joan Guerrero, Agustí Carbonell, Bru Rovira,..... have participated as well as renowned artists, politicians, intellectuals, etc… Antonì Tapies, Jose Luis R.Zapatero, Jose Saramago, Raimon, Luis Eduardo Aute, Rigoberta Menchu, Michelle Bachelet, Kim Manresa, Dario Fo, Pere Casaldaliga, Ana Belen, Pasqual Maragall, Ronaldinho.... The scope of activities takes place mainly in Catalunya but also have engaged in acts outside this environment Soria, Cadiz, Menorca ,.... To date we have performed 42 public events, edited 3 books and fruit the Activities undertaken have participated in the financing of various projects of solidarity in Latin America, Africa i Catalunya a total of 69.650 €
